Walks Through Archaeology at the UNESCO Site of Lavagnone
 
Two events dedicated to discovering the archaeological and natural heritage of Lonato del Garda will take place on Sunday, May 25, and Sunday, June 8, at 10:30 AM, at the Lavagnone pile-dwelling site. The initiative, titled “Walks Through Archaeology”, includes guided tours led by experts, aiming to highlight one of the most important prehistoric settlements in the Lake Garda area.
 
The Lavagnone site is part of the network of prehistoric pile-dwelling sites around the Alps recognized by UNESCO, offering a context of great interest both for its archaeological significance and its natural environment. During the tour, participants will learn about the characteristics of the pile-dwelling settlement and the unique features of the surrounding ecosystem.
 
The event is free of charge, but reservation is required.
